Personal history

Well, I am 25% Puerto Rican and 75% African American. My father is half Puerto Rican and half African American and my mother is 100% African American. My fathers mother is 100% Puerto Rican and his father is 100% African American. My mothers parents are both 100% African American. I only speak english. My religion is christian. Both of my parents are christian too. My fathers mother is catholic and his father is christian. both of my mothers parents are christian. My grandmother is the only person in my family that speaks english and spanish.

When I google searched Immigration in America, there was 71,300 sites found.

Then when I typed in discrimination in the "at least one of the words' box, there was 781 sites found.

Searching The Web

The topic I picked was Global Warming. The bad website I found was not good because it did notgive enough information. This site gives true information but not enough to let you know information about global warming.

The good website I found gave a lot of information. Also, it gave other articles from other sites on the page. And the information is true.

The other topic I picked was the Iraq war. The good site I found gave a lot of information and was very useful. The information I found was true and not made up.

The bad site I found gave no useful information at all. It does not reallygiveany information on the war.

Peer Review For I Am

I reviewed Rashad Prescod's I am post. He is 13 years old and he has a sister, mom, and dad. His favorite place is Barbados. His former school was I.S. 59. He says his teachers are nice. So far he likes the teachers here too.

When he grows up, he wants to be a video game designer or a videogame tester, which ever pays more. He would also like to be a first grade teacher too. He is never home, and is always playing with his friends. He also likes to swim too!

I am

I am Kevin Powers. I am 14 years old. I like to play basketball and football. My birthday is June 30th,1993. So far i like iths, its cool. My recent junior highschool where I graduated from was j.h.s. 157 Q. I live in Corona, Queens. I live with my mom, dad, and brother. My brother goes to queens vocational highschool. I like to listen to rap and hip-hop. Some of my favorite foods are pizza, mac and cheese, and chicken.

I am excited about going to iths. It's exciting going here seeing new people I don't know. I can't wait to meet my new classmates in september. I can't wait to meet new friends here. I'm a little bit nervious of all the work I'm going to be getting.

Some of my hobbies are playing basketball and football, swimming, and hanging out with my friends. When I am not outside, I am either playing video games or talking to people on aim. I am always eating too but I some how stay skinny. I like to hang out in the mall with my friends where I like to shop at.

My nationality is Afican American mixed with Puerto Rico. Sometimes a lot of people get confused and always ask me what I am. My mom is African American and my dad is half Puerto Rican and half Afican American.

After I graduate from high school, I plan to go to college. My mom went to college, but my dad did'nt. I don't think my brother is planning to go though. I am doing whatever I can to get a successful future and a good paying job.
